Job Description:

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Shipping/Packing position in Batavia, NY. This is for a long-term temp to perm opportunity. As a Shipping/Packing associate you will be required to receiving incoming material and shipping outgoing products or supplies. You will be responsible for counting items received or shipped and checking against packing lists while recording any discrepancies. If you meet the qualifications listed below please Apply Now!

Responsibilities for this Shipping/Packaging position include:

•Pack boxes,

•Process shipments through UPS and Fed Ex computer,

• Process shipment information through SAP software,

• Process export shipments,

• Train in material handling for standard tooling,

• Pick and delivery standard tooling work slips and pick slips,

• Training in material handing for special tooling,

• Pick and deliver special tooling work slips and pick slips,

• Work in shipping as needed (pack boxes, prepare shipments),

• Work in shipping and as material handler

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 1-3 years experience preferred

• Resume outlining solid work history

We have openings on both the first shift (Monday - Friday from 7AM - 3:30PM) and on the off-second shift (Monday-Friday from 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Pay for this position is $10.00/hr plus overtime as needed with a $.50 shift differential for the second shift. This is a long-term temp to perm opportunity.
