Job Description:
A company is looking for a Scribe to document physician
dictation and activities into medical records.
Key Responsibilities
Record patient history and examination details as provided by the
physician or licensed independent practitioner
Document procedures and consultations in the medical chart for
approval
Gather and track laboratory and medical data for review by the
physician or licensed independent practitioner
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
West Virginia state criminal background check required
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and accepted
abbreviations
Typing speed of 50 wpm preferred
Computer proficiency and ability to learn new applications
quickly
