Job Title: GI Endoscopy NurseJob Summary: Unity Hospital is seeking a skilled GI Endoscopy Nurse to join our team. As a GI Endoscopy Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures, preparing patients for exams, and providing post-procedure care.Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, and ERCP.
• Prepare patients for exams, including administering medications and positioning patients.
• Provide post-procedure care, including monitoring patients and administering medications as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in GI/Endo nursing.
  • Experience with Epic electronic medical records system.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including 5/8s and 4/10s.Unit Specific Information:
    • EGD, colonoscopy with biopsy, APC, hemorrhage control, dilation, foreign body removal, decompression.
    • ERCP, stent placement, stent removal, biopsy, dilation.
    • ESU with FNA, specimen collection.
