Job Description:
A company is looking for a Fully Remote Pediatric Physician
Practice Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze medical records and accurately code diagnostic and
procedural information
Abstract clinical diagnoses and procedure codes into electronic
medical records
Ensure compliance with coding rules and regulations and provide
quality assurance for medical records
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge in medical
record keeping
Active certification as a CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CPC-A, RHIA, or
RHIT
At least six months of professional coding services or related
healthcare experience
Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting using coding
software and abstracting systems
