Position Job Title: Registered Nurse, Level 2 - Emergency
Department Job Specialty: Acute Emergency Nursing Job Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Three 12-hour shifts (Day/Night/Weekend/Holiday
Rotation) Guaranteed Hours: Full Time Experience: Minimum of two
years in an Emergency Room environment License: Valid RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: One year of acute
hospital experience as a registered professional nurse Job
Description: - Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients
and families using nursing theory, technical knowledge, and
communication skills. - Assess patient needs and prioritize care
based on urgency and emergent situations in compliance with Triage
Standards and ESI training. - Apply appropriate interventions,
evaluate patient progress, and adjust care as needed. - Utilize
various invasive and non-invasive procedures and therapeutic
interventions to manage life-threatening and routine emergency
situations. - Alleviate anxiety and address the physiological,
psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and
families. - Engage with patients and families during triage to
establish rapport and provide frequent updates regarding the care
process. - Conduct primary and secondary assessments using
observation, interviews, and data collection to identify critical
needs and necessary interventions. - Respond to domestic violence
or abuse suspicions and report them appropriately. - Foster trust
and cooperation among team members to ensure the best possible
patient outcomes. - Educate patients and families on post-emergency
care and discharge instructions based on their individual learning
styles. - Maintain awareness of patient conditions and communicate
updates throughout the emergency visit. - Create and maintain a
