Modis is recruiting top talent for a Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist Job in Rochester, NY. The QA Specialist is responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and user requirements. Looking for an individual who's primary focus of their career has been testing.
 
Duties:

• 
  

• Reviews/analyzes data and documentation.
• Familiar with a variety of Software Quality concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks including manual and automated testing and analysis of test results.
• May lead and direct the work of others.
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
• Their primary responsibilities will entail working within the UI, but they will occasionally need to query data directly and should be able to understand where data is breaking down at.
• The individual in this position will need to be able to create charts and graphs, and have the ability to effectively communicate technical issues with teammates effectively and professionally.

 
Requirements:

• 
  

• 5 - 8 years of experience in the testing field and be very familiar with testing best practices.
• May require an advanced degree and 5-8 years of direct experience in the field.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Must be familiar with Agile software development and able to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment.
• Must have a background in reporting, Java, testing, and Agile.
• Candidates must also have a background in mentoring.
• Preferred experience: Experience with Selenium, Testing certifications (SQA/QA), experience with SQL.
